Martin Steenhaut was born in Brussels and grew up in Antwerp. At a very young age, his older brother gave him the passion for nature. Since the studies already showed that the other was very interested in photography, this became the perfect combination. Looking at nature and trying to capture the beauty of it.

 

With regular exhibitions and publications he tries to share his passion with the general public. His work has been awarded several times in national and international photo competitions.

 

Martin is recognized as a professional photographer by the National and European Association of Professional Photographers FEP, and earned the highest official quality label as a Master Qualified European Photographer, which stands for absolute excellence in his field.

He is a worldwide working and recognized photographer and in 2019 he was distinguished as "FEP European Wildlife Photographer of the Year".
